Germantown will soon have a new water tower on Weaver Road thanks to an Ohio Environmental Protection Agency loan. The city received $2.3 million in funding through the . The city is going to construct a new water tower and a water telemetry system, which will help monitor water levels.
At last week鈥檚 city council meeting, Germantown City Manager Judy Gilleland said the community has been waiting for this for a long time.

An Indiana company, , won the construction bid. Germantown has historically had , but after the completion of the new tower, officials expect improvement.
