Cincinnati City Council Member Jeff Pastor is facing federal charges including attempted bribery, extortion and money laundering. FBI agents arrested him Tuesday morning.
Authorities describe a bribery scheme involving payoffs for help with city development projects. According to the U.S. Attorney's office, Pastor solicited and received $55,000 in bribes between August 2019 and February 2019 in exchange for "promised official action related to projects before the City of Cincinnati."
