I don鈥檛 know much about Mike Montgomery鈥檚 childhood, but I imagine it included a lot of people telling him that he can鈥檛 make a career out of punk rock and skateboarding - but that鈥檚 pretty much exactly what he鈥檚 done.
Mike has taken his passion for music, recording and skating and turned it into what might be considered a dream job. If he hasn鈥檛 played with some of Greater Cincinnati鈥檚 biggest (and best) bands, there鈥檚 a good chance he鈥檚 either recorded or toured with them.
In various incarnations since the 1990s, Mike has owned and operated whose clientele reads like a who鈥檚 who of local and regional musicians.
Candyland now shares space in Dayton, KY with Christopher Mueller鈥檚 in what may be the perfect marriage for recording, production and distribution.
SofaBurn is also home to - a project focused on giving back to the local community, wherever or however it may be needed.
