Elizah Turner died on April 9 after being attacked by a pit bull.

The Franklin County Coroner's Office identified the child as 7-month old Elizah Turner.

A Columbus police dispatcher said the child was pronounced dead Wednesday at 11:43 a.m.

Susan and Adam Withers were sentenced by a Pickaway County judge to at least 14 years in prison after their two dogs mauled Jo Ann Echelbarger to death in Oct. 2024.

Right now, Ohio law allows some vicious dogs to get a second chance.
