A bill that鈥檚 been a priority of Ohio's Republican lawmakers seems to be one of the hundreds of measures that may get to Gov. Mike DeWine鈥檚 desk this lame duck session 鈥� the 鈥淧arents鈥� Bill of Rights鈥�.

The administration will not direct public schools to allow students to use facilities that match their gender identities. It notes the primary role of state and local districts in education policy.

Texas Republicans are divided over the need for 鈥� and political wisdom of 鈥� a bill similar to one that caused political turmoil in North Carolina.
