Host has both tricks and treats, kicking off with William Bolcom's Graceful Ghost Rag before taking a turn to the dark side with Hector Berlioz's March to the Scaffold, Frederic Chopin鈥檚 Marche Funebre and the Danse Macabre by Camille Saint-Saens. Essential Classics airs every Monday at 7 p.m. (repeated Saturdays at 5 p.m.).
Then host has a soundtrack for your spooky soiree on Halloween night, complete with ghosts, goblins and a haunted forest. presents music by Morton Gould, Edward MacDowell, Aaron Copland and George Whitefield Chadwick.
