Listen to the Amadeus Deli live from the Columbus Arts Festival Friday at noon on Classical 101.

It's that time again. This weekend, June 10-12, art lovers and sun worshippers will flock to the downtown Columbus Riverfront like the swallows at Capistrano to take in art by hundreds of visual artists, writers, dancers and musicians. And Classical 101 will be there, too.

Join me tomorrow - Friday, June 10 - at noon for a special Columbus Arts Festival edition of the Amadeus Deli. Stop by the ÐÇ¿ÕÎÞÏÞ´«Ã½ booth near the corner of Rich Street and Civic Center Drive and say hello. Or, if you can't make it downtown, tune in to Classical 101 on your radio, online at or on your mobile device with the .

Five Great Mozartean Health Food Festival Treats

Along with the great art, the great views and the great weather (I'm sure) at this year's Columbus Arts Festival, there will also be absurdly tasty treats - treats you get only at festivals. In past years , all of which contain large imaginary doses of carbs, transfat and the personality quirks rampant in Mozart's inner circle.

This year, though, I'm going crunchy. Here's my list of Five Great Mozartean Health Food Festival Treats. May they bring you guilt-free pleasure!

5. Colloredo Quinoa - I'm sure a serving of quinoa now and then would have bolstered Mozart's energy for dealing with his much-despised boss, the Archbishop Colloredo.

4. Fiordiligi Fishcakes - Fiordiligi is one of the characters in Così fan tutte. She's a bit of a piece of work. But you can't hit all those high notes without plenty of Omega 3s.

3. Constanze Kale - It's all about kale right now. Imagine Mozart's wife, Constanze, fluffing up a kale salad in her wig and corset.

2. Leopold Lentils - Healthy, tasty. A nice bowl of lentils every once in a while might have helped pull Mozart's dad, Leopold, out of his constant crankiness.

and finally ...

1. Salmon Salieri - I sort of wish festivals sold salmon on a stick with a lemon wedge on the side. Healthy, yummy. But if you buy into the (much discredited) theory that Salieri poisoned Mozart, then Salmon Salieri takes on a darker hue. I'll leave it at that.

Happy noshing! And enjoy the Amadeus Deli live from the Columbus Arts Festival Friday, June 10 at noon on Classical 101.
