Ohio鈥檚 parents bill of rights became law recently. Supporters say it puts parents, not the government, at the center of a child鈥檚 education and healthcare. Critics say the law unfairly targets LGBTQ youth.
The law requires schools to come up with policies to allow students to leave during the school day for religious instruction, while this was optional previously.
