Columbus’ tree canopy is meager when compared to the neighboring cities of Cincinnati and Pittsburgh.
Within the city, wealthier, whiter, neighborhoods have more shade than communities of color. With the city's population expected to grow, the need for an increased tree canopy is even more important.
We’ll look at the master plan that has been developed for the city and the role it can play in improving our overall quality of life.
