Fair housing is the right to choose housing free from unlawful discrimination. However, discriminatory practices, financial scamming and the lack of affordable housing still place renters at a disadvantage.
The Legal Aid Society of Columbus recently received funding from the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development to initiate a Fair Housing program. We鈥檒l discuss the need for fair housing education and practices in Ohio.
