Wellness Wednesday: The benefits of hormone therapy on transgender youth

Texas Governor Greg Abbott has categorized hormone treatment for transgender youth as “child abuse.” Abbott is one of a number of elected officials looking to ban hormone therapy.

Studies suggest, however, that these treatments can be life-saving for young people.

We’ll look at the beneficial effects of hormone therapy on transgender youth.
