Black women are often seen as the backbone of the Democratic Party. When candidates need that extra boost at the voting booth, they鈥檙e expected to work their 鈥淏lack girl magic鈥 to get that candidate elected to office.
When Black women run for office, however, they often encounter a number of hurdles and barriers. We鈥檒l look at a new training program being created to help Black women candidates.
