Black women are often seen as the backbone of the Democratic Party. When candidates need that extra boost at the voting booth, they鈥檙e expected to work their 鈥淏lack girl magic鈥� to get that candidate elected to office.
When Black women run for office, however, they often encounter a number of hurdles and barriers. We鈥檒l look at a new training program being created to help Black women candidates.
