The national anthem began to be played at sporting events when America was in WWI. Fast forward a few decades and patriotic displays can be found at all major sporting venues.

We’ll speak with the OSU professor behind a study that looks at whether sports teach a love of country and how the intermingling of sports and patriotism has increased over the past decades.
