Landmark buildings can define a neighborhood or a city, but in Columbus only one in four buildings pre-date 1945. That鈥檚 lower than a 50-city average that鈥檚 closer to 40 percent.
Preservation efforts over the years have saved the Union Station arch, Memorial Hall and other structures, but many others have been lost.
