Sales of seeds and gardening supplies soared worldwide this spring as people turned to the earth for food, flowers and a measure of calm.
Burpee & Co., the nation鈥檚 largest seed company, logged the most sales in its nearly 140-year-history and saw traffic to its advice web page jump by 75% as the pandemic took hold.
