Columbus has won the U.S. Department of Transportation鈥檚 鈥淪mart City Challenge鈥� and with it, forty million dollars from the federal government and ninety million in local matching contributions. The city is now positioned to become the blueprint for other mid-sized U.S. cities when it comes to smart transportation.
