Franklin County residents who鈥檇 like to improve their mental health but aren鈥檛 sure where to start will have another year to sample one of the tools county commissioners are providing to the public to help.

Franklin County commissioners are expected to extend a contract Tuesday for $43,000 for another year with CredibleMind, the digital behavioral health platform that declares, 鈥淚t鈥檚 okay to not be OK."

CredibleMind鈥檚 mental health resources are offered at no cost to county residents who鈥檇 rather work on their mental health issues themselves, using a self-paced approach.

The digital behavioral health platform offers a free assessment and aggregates articles, books, apps, podcasts and videos on hundreds of topics meant to assist people on their mental and emotional health journeys.

More than 3,500 people completed the online assessment in the first year of the contract and twice that amount used the site.
