Mitt Romney, former governor of Massachusetts and recently elected Senator from Utah, appears to be laying his own foundation for a potential run.

The Ohio legislature Kasich’s veto on a bill that increased death benefits for the families of first responders, but also hiked wages for lawmakers and other elected officials. Whether or not the lawmakers deserved a raise, critics have called it a particularly sneaky move.
