A winter storm is headed to Ohio with freezing rain, sleet and snow, and Central Ohio school districts are already canceling classes for Thursday.

Columbus City Schools, Southwestern City Schools, Pickerington Schools, Worthington City Schools, Hilliard City Schools, Dublin City Schools, and Reynoldsburg City Schools have all canceled classes tomorrow ahead of the expected winter storm.

An email from Columbus City Schools reads, "Due to forecasted inclement weather for Thursday, February 3, 2022, Columbus City Schools will cancel all classes for Thursday. There will be no remote learning or in-person classes tomorrow, February 3. All athletic and extracurricular activities are canceled as well."

Columbus City Schools said the district will continue to monitor weather and road conditions over the next 48 hours and notify families and staff of any updates regarding Friday, February 4.
