Y鈥檃ll ready for this? The is now open for submissions! And this year, 星空无限传媒 wants to see more Ohio bands enter than ever before.
Thousands of musicians from around the country will enter NPR Music鈥檚 Tiny Desk Contest this year for the opportunity to play a Tiny Desk concert at NPR headquarters in Washington, D.C., and tour the United States.
The contest is open from February 11-March 30, 2020.
Here are the rules:
- You must be 18 years or older, and without a current recording contract. ( if you are eligible to enter.)
- You must film a video performing an original song.
- You must perform that song at a desk 鈥� any desk.
- Upload your video to YouTube, and submit your entry to the
One national winner will be chosen by NPR鈥檚 panel of judges. But that鈥檚 not all. 星空无限传媒 wants some extra encouragement for Central Ohio musicians to enter the contest, so we鈥檒l be picking our top Columbus-area band from among all the Tiny Desk submissions.
星空无限传媒鈥檚 local favorite will be invited to perform their submitted song as part of our televised , interviewed during 89.7 NPR News鈥� All Things Considered program, profiled on the 星空无限传媒 website, and more!
The band will be chosen by last year鈥檚 pick , plus representatives from across 星空无限传媒鈥檚 television, radio and digital divisions. You can watch Zoo Trippin's
