CoverMyMeds, one of the largest start-ups in Columbus, announced plans for a $240 million campus project in West Franklinton.
The company says the , which will be undertaken in two phases, will add more than 1,000 new jobs. The buildings, set along the Scioto River, will be environmentally-friendly and built to LEED standards. The development will also feature bike paths, access to green spaces and public community space.
Phase one of the project will focus on a 200,000-square-foot office building, while phase two would bring a parking garage and another 200,000-square-foot office building.
CoverMyMeds also announced a new partnership with COSI to create a youth program targeted at STEM education in surrounding Franklinton schools. It will also engage with the Columbus Library on adult job training and other resources.
Columbus City Council approved a 15-year, 100 percent property tax abatement .
