Ohio emergency officials say they are prepared to cope with terrorism

Dale Shipley is the OEMA's executive director. He says the money Ohio received for its homeland security is used to buy equipment, train emergency workers and canvas possible threatened areas and increase security in those areas.

Shipley says another benefit of the grant funds is greater communication between various divisions of law enforcment.
