Six Columbus City Schools will keep their doors closed to students Wednesday as they pivot to remote learning because of ongoing staff shortages.
The schools going remote Wednesday include:
- Buckeye Middle School
- Hilltonia Middle School
- Moler Elementary School
- Wedgewood Middle School
- West Broad Elementary School
- Yorktown Middle School
Hilltonia and Moler were added to the list at 6 a.m. Wednesday.
Teachers and staff at the affected schools are still expected to report on-site for their normal work schedule. All middle school athletic practices and games for the remote learning schools are canceled for Wednesday.
Due to heating issues at Parsons Elementary School, classes there are canceled for Wednesday. The school will not hold in-person or remote classes on Wednesday.
