Celebrate the 4th of July with Music

It's hard to beat the Fourth of July.  Fireworks displays, cookouts and picnics, a day at the pool...but no July 4th celebration is complete without some great music.

There are .  If Red, White, and Boom simply isn't enough, or is maybe too much:

Music and fireworks await you on the evening of the 4th with the Columbus Symphony Orchestra.  Their annual performance takes place at Columbus Commons downtown.  They're joined by the Columbus Gay Men's Chorus for a fabulous evening of favorites under the stars, capped off with fireworks.

The presents the on Saturday, July 4.  The event will offer a 20 Yard Toddler Crawl, 1/4 Mile Shirck Orthodontics Kids FUN Run and a 5k which will have a Run & Walk Division, so everyone can get in on the action. They'll offer live performances along the race course by the New Albany Symphony and local non-profit performing arts groups. It will be immediately followed by the Annual New Albany 4th of July Parade at 10:30am which will go through Market Square.

The holds their July 4th performance Saturday morning at 10am at Dublin Community Church, 81 West Bridge Street, Dublin, OH 43017.

The performs on the Ohio Wesleyan University Main Campus in Delaware Saturday evening at 7:30 p.m.  Lawn seating is free (you can bring a lawn chair) and seats in front of the stage are available for a nominal fee.

If you'd like to take a little road trip, the has 7pm concerts both Friday and Saturday, along with a number of other .

The has an 8pm  July 3rd concert with fireworks at the Martha Grace Reese Amphitheatre on the OSU Newark campus.

If you need a bit of Liberty & Lunacy, the  stumbles into motion around 1pm Saturday.  In their words:
