If the still has you fuming, take heart: a new museum devoted to violins and violin making opened recently in Cremona, Italy. opened in September in the hometown of Antonio Stradivari, the world's foremost maker of violins. In addition to hosting exhibits of instruments made by Stradivari and other elite luthiers, the museum is also home to the Triennial Stradivarius International Stringed Instrument Competition, popularly known as the "Olympics of violin making," and offers concerts in its 500-seat concert hall.
